YELLOWKNIFE (May 27, 2020) – Members of the 19th Legislative Assembly today introduced a Notice of Motion for the revocation of a government Minister.
MLA Steve Norn, Chair of the Standing Committee on Accountability and Oversight, gave notice today that on Friday, May 29th, he will move that the Assembly revoke the appointment to the Executive Council of the Member for Great Slave. The Motion is seconded by the MLA for Hay River South, Rocky Simpson.
“Members of Accountability and Oversight decided to bring this Motion forward due to concerns about the Member for Great Slave’s performance as a Cabinet Minister,” said Mr. Norn.
The Motion is scheduled to be debated and voted on May 29th, 2020.
