Thank you, Mr. Chair. I appreciate the response. For the most part, I think the Members on this side of the House were very supportive of this project. I know I have been and I’ve been able to see the merits in the long term for the residents of the Northwest Territories.
This is a P3 project, if you will, and I think we need to get an understanding of what does this really mean now that this project is finished or coming to completion and it’s now on our books. We know this runway is roughly 1,830 metres in length. If we’re going to be doing this drainage program, which I think it sounds like a fairly large undertaking, is there any consideration of actually increasing the length of this runway to maybe allow for larger planes to land in Hay River? Thank you.
