Thank you, Madam Chair, and welcome to the Minister and the delegation here this evening. I know everyone is a bit tired.
I have two items that I would like to bring; observations during the process or preparation for the Department of Finance being here today. One in which is an observation in accounting practices and it has to deal with the issue of amortization.
Coming from the corporate side or the corporate sector for most of my adult life, amortization I know is dealt with a little bit differently in the public sector. That said, in a lot of cases throughout the process of the Finance...

My next question has to do with medical equipment. In the line entry here we have as medical equipment under $50,000. There seems to be a slight increase. However, it is well known that we have, especially at the territorial hospital, a number of large pieces of equipment that are nearing their lifecycles. A lot of this major equipment was purchases in the late ‘90s, early 2000’s. Some of this equipment is now entering 12 years of lifecycle and needs to be looked at.
