Thank you, Mr. Chairman. There seems to be a lot of duplication between the Executive’s budget and this budget with regard to funding sources. In the Executive budget there were funds allocated to the northern leaders meetings and now here we see the line item here. Also with regard to questions we were asking about that I’m wondering what exactly is the overlap and if the devolution portfolio falls under Executive and the land claims portfolio falls under Aboriginal Affairs, do you have your own legal counsel for when you meet on the basis of both with different legal obligations? My questions are directed to Municipal and Community Affairs in regards to the issue that I raised in my Member’s statement: costs for our athletes to partake in territorial trials or basically trying to get a seat on the team to get to the Canada Games regardless if it is winter or summer. I think that realizing that using the Fort McPherson situation where they had to fundraise some $27,000 just to partake in the tryouts in regards to making the soccer team for the NWT to go to the Canada Summer Games. Mr. Chairman, just in case the media picks up on the Premier’s comments that he had full support of the Members here in the House, that is not true. I think he knows that. Unless you put it to a vote on the floor and see who is for and against, then you might get that assumption. I, for one, did not support this devolution agreement and I would like to put it on public record.
