Thank you, committee. Sergeant-at-Arms, if I can please get you to bring the witnesses into the House.
Thank you. Minister McLeod, can I please get you to introduce your witnesses for the record?
Thank you, Mr. Jacobson. I have nobody else on my list. I believe we have some motions. The first motion, I believe, is Mr. Yakeleya.
Thank you. Any other Members wish to speak who haven’t already spoken? Okay. Because of my confusion I will go to the mover of the motion to close, because there was some confusion. So I’ll allow the mover of the motion to officially close and I have the discretion to do that. Thank you, committee. Once again my confusion is just gotten straightened out. We don’t go back to the mover of a motion in Committee of the Whole a second time for concluding discussion and debate on a motion. To the motion. Mr. Beaulieu.
Thanks to the Minister for that response. I accept the need and encourage the use of temporary passes. My concern is more along the lines that over the years -- and we can go way back to the beginning of Stanton -- we’ve had situations where people have gone who were supposed to come back and were never able to come back. I’m curious; at what point do we do a bit of an internal review on those passes and whether or not we have to have situations where families have to be a supervisor or guardian of a person who is released? We want to help these people. I know the Minister wants to help these...
Thank you, Mr. Ramsay. I will now go to the Minister responsible for the bill and see if he would like to bring witnesses into the House. Minister McLeod.
Thank you, Mr. Bromley. Mr. Menicoche.
Thank you. Next on my list is Mr. Yakeleya.
