Thank you, Mr. Speaker. It’s an exciting day for the forest industry in the Northwest Territories. Later this afternoon our government will be signing an MOU with Fort Res. We hope that this will be the start of well needed jobs in the South Slave area and economic opportunities. A lot of hard work has been done by the Fort Res band and the Metis. Good job.
A great deal of work has been done also by our forest management division, who should be commended for all of this hard work.
It is a great opportunity to see there’s a forest industry back in Fort Res and in the South Slave. We are excited...
