I'm glad to hear the departments are working with the other departments on the other side here to try to achieve the goals as set out in the first RFP process during the procurement. My next question is related to hearing the Minister will provide the information: will the Minister also include in the information what was targeted in the request for the RFP and how much it has produced today in terms of apprentice trades accomplishing their hours?

Debates of , 18th Assembly, 3rd Session (day 6)

Mr. Speaker, in the whole area of rehabilitation and reintegration, there are casualties of our society due to hardships and bad choices. Mr. Speaker, this group needs the message that their government is there in providing the necessary supports and proactive environments through economic diversification. It has been said several times that the "best social program is a job" and, Mr. Speaker, I totally agree.

I compliment the Department of Health and Social Services in delivering an addiction treatment centre tour this past December to include the Standing Committee on Social Development...

Debates of , 18th Assembly, 3rd Session (day 5)

I'm glad to hear that we're providing benefits with this new acquisition that happened last year and the operations of last summer. My next question is related to, aside from training the workforce, the workforce itself. How many of the workforce were northern NWT residents?

Debates of , 18th Assembly, 3rd Session (day 5)

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. My question today is for the Minister of DOI to better understand the MTS 2017 sailing season. My first question is: how many tugboats did MTS deploy and what were the volumes of fuel and cargo hauled? Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
