Written Question 7-18(2): Heating Issues Related to the Joe Greenland Centre

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, I have four questions for the Minister of Housing. I’d like to ask the Minister what type of heating system is in place at the Joe Greenland Centre in Aklavik. Also, what was the additional cost of electricity due to the use of space heaters by elders in the Joe Greenland Centre from September 1, 2015 to June 1, 2016? Agreed.

We will begin with our consideration of the Department of Municipal and Community Affairs. We had opening remarks yesterday, so would the Minister like to bring witnesses into the Chamber? Minister McLeod.

Yes, I would, Mr. Chair.

Sergeant-at-Arms, please escort the witnesses into the Chamber. Minister, would you please introduce your witnesses.

Thank you, Mr. O’Reilly. Minister McLeod.

Thank you, Mr. Chair. We do review these fees annually. Thank you.
