Bill 57 has had its third reading. Third reading of bills. Minister of Justice.

Bill 58: Justice Administration Statutes Amendment Act

Mr. Speaker, I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Hay River South, that Bill 58: Justice Administration Statutes Amendment Act be read for the third time. Mr. Speaker, I request a recorded vote. Thank you, Mr. Speaker.

Speaker: MR. SPEAKER

Masi. The Member has requested a recorded vote. The motion is in order. To the motion. Member for Kam Lake.

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Although I support much of this bill, as Members of this House will recall, during the clause-by-clause review, I took issue with clause 7. I continue to stand opposed to that clause of the bill. Seeing as there is no way to modify it at this point and that the House has settled that question, I will be in support of this bill because the rest of it does very good things for the people of the Northwest Territories. Thank you.

Speaker: MR. SPEAKER

Masi. To the motion.
