Thank you, Minister, for the update on that information. We did the feasibility study, so when is it going to be starting, shovel in the ground? Thank you, Mr. Chair.

Thank you, Mr. Thompson. Minister McLeod.

Thank you, Mr. Chair. My understanding, and the reason that it is coming forward, is that we are hoping to start some of the work in 2021, this upcoming fiscal year. We have $4.875 million through this process that we are going through allocated for this particular project. Thank you, Mr. Chair.

Thank you, Minister McLeod. Mr. Thompson.

On page 46, it says surface water management, phase 1. Is that the work just to help fix up the issues on the new airport? Is that what we are doing here?

Thank you, Mr. Thompson. Minister McLeod.

Thank you, Mr. Chair. That level of detail, I don't know exactly what the scope of work is going to be in the project. I think that I may have jumped the gun here a bit by pointing out how much money was actually allocated to this particular project, because it doesn't show in the Infrastructure document that we are debating. It shows in some of the substantiation that we have here. I think I jumped the gun a bit there, and maybe giving some people a head start on putting a price together for this particular project. Thank you.

Thank you, Minister McLeod. Mr. Thompson.

Thank you. I appreciate the Minister for his answer. The community of Sambaa K'e was looking at this as an issue moving forward, and I see that the government has been dealing with it. I think that the Minister of Infrastructure is willing to clarify for us, if the Minister is willing. Thank you, Mr. Chair.

Thank you, Mr. Thompson. Minister Schumann.

Thank you, Mr. Chair. The scope of work that is proposed for this project is installation of a series of rock-filled bench drains underneath the existing runway embankment, control site drainage, and stabilize problematic areas. This will require excavation of the runway embankment to natural ground installation of bench drains and backfill and compacting the excavation materials to finish grade. Thank you, Mr. Chair.

Thank you, Minister Schumann. Any further questions from committee? Seeing none, I will call the page again. Infrastructure, programs and services, infrastructure investments, $63,459,000. Does committee agree?

Thank you. That brings us now to housing. NWT Housing Corporation. The Northwest Territories Housing Corporation is included as an information item. We will defer the corporation total until after consideration of the activity summary. Starting on page 62, with information item on page 63. Finance and infrastructure services, infrastructure investments, $11,650,000. Mr. O'Reilly.

Thanks, Mr. Chair. Can someone explain to me why there was a decline in funding for the Housing Corporation between the capital estimates for 2019-2020 and 2020-2021? Thank you, Mr. Chair.

Thank you, Mr. O'Reilly. Mr. Stewart.

Thanks, Mr. Chair. My understanding is the Housing Corporation keeps a pretty detailed list of the planning of all of their assets around what the timing is around major retrofits, as well as replacements, and I suspect the issue here is really around the timing of when some of the replacements were needed, versus retrofits. So there has typically been some variation on an annual basis. Thanks, Mr. Chair.

Thank you, Mr. Stewart. Mr. O'Reilly.

Thanks, Mr. Chair. Yes, I know everybody is in a rush. Can I just get a commitment, then? I heard "suspect." Can we get a commitment to provide that information by email tomorrow? Thanks, Mr. Chair.

Thank you, Mr. O'Reilly. Minister McLeod.

Thank you, Mr. Chair. We'll provide the information.
