Thank you, Mr. Chair, and I thank the Minister for that. I am just trying to make sure I can get this information to the council, so I greatly appreciate the Minister getting that information. As soon as we get it, or even if the Minister or the department can get back to the community, that would be great. Thank you, Mr. Chair.

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, my questions will be to the Minister of Education, Culture and Employment today. In my Member's statement, you heard me talk about the community in Sambaa K'e, about their school expansion and the issue about the gym. My first question to the Minister: the architects in the department made a commitment to come back and give them alternative options there. Has the department provided these options to the community? Thank you, Mr. Speaker. This motion proposes a relatively small change in wording that was identified by committee immediately before the clausebyclause review. As there was not time to draft and translate the motion without delaying the clausebyclause review, the committee and the Minister agreed that it would be acceptable to move this motion in the House.

Is that because of the winter road? Because, when I went in there recently, they were all going crazy, they were building up, and it was going up pretty quick. Thank you, Mr. Chair.

I thank the Minister. I understand we can go around and around in circles. What I am trying to do is come up with a plan that we can move forward for the residents of Fort Liard. The problem is that somebody made a promise to them and now, no fault of their own, they made a decision that they were not going to pay their taxes, so what we are trying to do is come up with a plan to do it. Previously, the Minister talked about the Property Assessment and Taxation Act, and, if I understand him correctly, outstanding interest charges on property taxes are considered part of the taxation outstanding...

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, I was talking earlier today in my Member's statement about taxation, and I asked the Minister some questions. I would like to follow up with more questions to the Minister of Finance: can the Minister advise, of that $9.6 million, how much is owed in taxes by the residents of the hamlet of Fort Liard and have a breakdown of principle and interest?
